In 2025, Cactus and Baker Hughes entered into an agreement for Cactus to acquire and operate a majority stake in the Baker Hughes Surface Pressure Control business (“SPC”). The roots of SPC can be traced back over 100 years to include companies like Regan, Vetco Gray, and Wood Group Pressure Control. The combination of Cactus Wellhead and SPC’s management, technology and experience with these pressure control product lines forms the foundations of Cactus International. Cactus International brings the Cactus culture of Safety, Customer Focus, and Relentless Pursuit of Quality to non-US pressure control markets. Current Cactus International executives and leadership have worked together as a team an average of 25 years, including time as the leadership of Wood Group Pressure Control.
